A trough of low pressure will skirt along the Canadian border and usher in a few inches of new snow Friday through Saturday. The areas likely to see the best snowfall will be the higher elevations of western Montana and central Idaho...including Lookout, Lolo, Lost Trail, and Marias Passes.

Thanksgiving Day Forecast: Areas of valley fog are expected to develop late Wednesday night and persist into Thanksgiving Day. By mid day the high pressure ridge will begin to break down which should help lift the fog. However conditions are still expected to remain fairly stable leading to partly sunny but hazy conditions in most valleys. Valley temperatures will remain quite cool but seasonable while the mountains warm to near normal readings.
