Weather Story

This graphic shows average, record earliest and record latest first occurrences of various temperatures at Billings throughout the spring and summer. For example, if you find the middle of April on the vertical axis, follow the line across until it intersects the red line. This corresponds with temps in the mid to upper 70s, meaning in mid April we "normally" see our first occurrence of mid to upper 70s. If you are curious when we typically first hit 90 degrees, find 90 on the horizontal axis, and follow a line up until it intersects the red line. By doing this you can see we normally first reach 90 near the middle of June, the record earliest is in mid April (green line), and the record latest is mid July (purple line).
