With the windy conditions and warmer temperatures recently, a good portion of the region has seen most of their snow melt. Areas across eastern and northeastern Montana continue to see snow cover on the ground however. The satellite image shown here from February 15 at 2 PM shows where the snow cover is left. The white areas on the map are where there is still snow on the ground where the darker areas are where the snow has melted.
