* For best results, please use at least the following resolution : 1152*864
* Be aware, especially for the current information, that the grid points
are the arrow's bases.
* Please compare results with the methods you currently use to predict
wave conditions at the entrance bar, and provide feedback on your findings
to Troy Nicolini or Greg Crawford at the numbers below. Also, remember
to listen to NOAA weather radio for the most up to date coastal marine
forecast and the U.S. Coast Guard broadcast on VHF radio.
* IMPORTANT NOTE: The bar forecast does not always identify hazards
when they occur outside the jetties - because of rapid bar formation
at the tip of the south jetty, and because of complex interactions between
tidal current and general ocean current. Therefore, do not assume that
the lack of hazard delineation in this area indicates the waves are
not hazardous.
Please provide feedback regarding the usefulness of the bar forecasts
to Troy Nicolini or Greg Crawford.
