A system will move through Monday morning bringing a colder air mass and snow to higher elevations. 5 to 10 inches are likely in the Cascades, while 1 to 4 inches are possible above 2000 feet across the West Side. 2 to 5 inches are expected for the East Side and much of northern California with 3 to 6 inches for mountain passes in Northwest Modoc County and up to 10 inches for higher elevations. Interstate 5 at Siskiyou Summit and Black Butte Summit will see between 5 and 10 inches of snow through Monday morning. Expect hazardous travel along all mountain passes late Sunday into Monday.
