Forecast models are showing increasing confidence for an even stronger weather system over the holiday weekend which could supply additional snowfall to the higher elevations along the Continental Divide, Southwest Montana and perhaps West Central Montana. Most all mountain passes could be impacted by reduced visibility or slick roadways due to snowfall. Those with plans to adventure into the mountains and backcountry for camping and/or hiking should be prepared for potential winter like conditions this week and make sure to take the appropriate gear.
