CHANGES
TO THE
NORTHERN ROCKIES ANNUAL FIRE WEATHER OPERATING
PLAN
Following are changes to the common section of the National Weather
Service Northern Rockies Annual Fire Weather Operating Plan.
- Wording in the Fire Weather Watch/Red Flag Warning section was changed to emphasize that red flag conditions are any change in the weather that constitutes an increase in fire danger.
- The Fuel Status Page should be the main monitoring tool for fuels conditions.

An experimental National fire weather webpage is available at weather.gov/fire . This page layout allows quick and easy access to all regional and local fire weather information, including point digital forecasts and access to the Activity Planner/Weather Planning Tool.
