| As part of National Air Quality Awareness Week, April 28 to May 3, students in grades K-5 throughout eastern Washington and north Idaho are cordially invited to participate in a free coloring activity jointly sponsored by the Spokane Regional Clean Air Agency and the National Weather Service Office in Spokane. |

This activity is a geared toward the entire classroom.
It's fun and as simple as 1-2-3.
(1) Each student selects one or more of the template pages below to color.
(2)
Once complete, teachers should post individual pages to a classroom bulletin board to create a "poster collage."
(3)
Snap a digital photo of the decorated bulletin board and send the picture to
w-otx.webmaster@noaa.gov with a subject line: Air Quality Coloring Activity. |

| Although this is not an official coloring contest, and individual prizes will not be awarded, pictures of classroom bulletin boards will be posted on this web page for all to enjoy. The deadline to submit photos is May 15, 2008.
Note: Because this is a government web site, images submitted to us become part of the public domain. Make sure you include the location, date, and who to give credit to in the body of the email. In addition, please provide written permission to use your photo. |
