NOAA ISSUES MONTHLY CLIMATE SUMMARY FOR Moro

       According to preliminary data received by NOAA's National Weather Service in Pendleton Oregon, temperatures at Moro averaged slightly warmer than normal during the month of November.

       The average temperature was 40.7 degrees which was 1.8 degrees above normal. High Temperatures averaged 51.0 degrees, which was 3.5 degrees above normal. The highest was 63 degrees on the 1st. Low temperatures averaged 30.4 degrees, which was normal. The lowest was 25 degrees, on the 1st.

       There were 20 days with the low temperature below 32 degrees.

       Precipitation totaled 1.96 inches during November, which was 0.35 inches above normal. Measurable precipitation -at least .01 inch- was received on 16 days with the heaviest, 0.26 inches reported on the 4th.

       Precipitation this year has reached 11.63 inches, which is 1.91 inches above normal. Since October, the water year precipitation at Moro has been 3.20 inches, which is 0.62 inches above normal.

       The highest wind gust was 27 mph which occurred on the 1st.

       The outlook for December from NOAA's Climate Prediction Center calls for above normal temperatures and below normal precipitation. Normal highs for Moro fall from 41.0 degrees at the start of December to 37.0 degrees at the end of December. Normal lows fall from 27.0 degrees to 24.0 degrees. The 30 year normal precipitation is 1.66 inches.
