Then Call NWS if: |
Tornado |
see a Tornado, Waterspout or Funnel |
Thunderstorm |
Frequent Lightning or Damaging Winds |
Hail |
1/2 inch (dime size) or larger |
Heavy Rain |
1 inch or more with 12 hours or,
1/2 inch or more within 1 hour |
Flooding |
Rivers approaching bankful, or ponding of water on roadways. |
High Winds |
Sustained or Gusts 40 mph or more. |
Heavy Snow |
1 inch or more in the valley/coast.
4 inches or more elsewhere. |
Blowing Snow |
Winds 30 mph or more, and
Visibility less than 1/2 mile |
Freezing Rain |
Always report, especially if accumulating |
Heavy Surf/Tides |
Report if causing beach erosion |
Volcanic Activity
or Earthquake

always report, especially if have damage |
