A seemingly typical winter day quickly turned violent as an upper level short wave moved over the West Hills triggering a tornadic storm that moved east over the northern Willamette Valley. This webpage documents the damage caused by this storm and provides some insight into the environmental factors that may have contributed to the tornado formation. In depth discussions/presentations are found in the Pacific NW Weather Conference Presentations.
