The next Pacific low pressure system is forecast to move into AZ on Tuesday. This will be a stronger and colder storm with a chance of showers area-wide. However the best chance of showers will develop between Flagstaff and Phoenix eastward. Snow levels will fall from 5500 feet Tuesday morning to between 4000-4500 feet by late Tuesday afternoon. Although this is a stronger and colder storm...relatively low moisture levels will accompany the system...so snow amounts will be light...perhaps 1 to 2 inches above 5000 feet in southern Gila County.
