2000 — An F0 tornado was reported in the Spanish Springs Valley five miles north of Sparks. There were no injuries but minor property damage was reported.

1938 — 37.0 inches of snow fell at Tahoe City, with 28.0 inches of snow being reported at Portola.
1922 — 36.0 inches of snow fell at Markleeville, with 12.6 inches of snow being reported at Reno.
