*This table, for example, states that the average time interval is 100 years before 0.48" of rain or more falls at the Salt Lake airport in a 5 minute period, or 0.95" or more in a 10 minute period, etc. In another example, the table also states that about once every 10 years it is possible for 0.30" or more of precipitation to fall at the Salt Lake airport in 5 minutes, 0.52" or more in 10 minutes, etc.
