A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL SWEEP SOUTHEAST THROUGH THE NORTHERN MOUNTAINS EARLY THIS EVENING. A BRIEF PERIOD OF INTENSE SNOWFALL WILL TRAIL THE FRONT...FOLLOWED BY STEADY SNOWFALL THROUGH LATE TONIGHT. THE HEAVIEST SNOWS ARE EXPECTED ALONG THE NORTHERN WASATCH RANGE...WITH AMOUNTS DECREASING FURTHER SOUTH. HIGH PRESSURE ALOFT WILL MOVE IN EARLY THIS WEEK...WITH WARMER AND DRIER CONDITIONS FOR THE ENTIRE WEEK.
