...Winter Storm Warning through 4pm Today...

A secondary trough will cross the Wasatch later this morning into the afternoon. Pre-frontal snow is beginning and will continue to intensify over the next few hours as the front approaches. Said trough is colder than the previous and will provide more favorable conditions for lower density snow and orographic enhancement as well...especially for the Cottonwood Canyons. Snow is expected to taper rapidly late afternoon/evening with passage of the trough.
