High pressure will build over the area through Thursday, resulting in light north to northwest flow and sunny skies. Inversion layer is expected to lower to around 6500 feet by late Tuesday. A warming trend in temperatures is expected above that layer. The ridge is expected to shift east late Thursday and early Friday ahead of a series of storm systems affecting the area late Friday through Sunday.
