Tornado Safety Rules
- In a home or building, move into the basement.
- If basement is not available, move to an interior room or hallway on the
lowest floor and get under a sturdy piece of table or funrniture.
- Stay way from windows or doors.
- If caught outside, lie flat in a nearby ditch or depression.

Flash Flood Safety Rules
- Get out of flood prone areas. This includes dips, low spots, canyons,
washes, etc.
- Do not attempt to cross flowing streams or flooded roads.
- Never drive through flooded roadways!
- If the vehicle stalls, leave it immediately and seek higher ground.
- Do not camp or park your vehicle near or along streams and washes,
particularly during threatening weather conditions.
