Here is a 24-hour precipitation total as of 11:00 am PST. Accumulations still continue for the Southern Sacramento and Northern San Joaquin Valleys, as well as the Northern Sierra and neighboring foothills into the afternoon hours. Showers should dwindle by late this afternoon and evening. Any clearing tonight could lead to patchy dense fog in the valley for early Tuesday morning. Another system will pass through Tuesday night into Wednesday morning that will bring more precipitation accumulations to northern CA (with a focus on the Sierra), although amounts will be less significant than Sunday-Monday’s system.
