AFTERNOON.

THE WIND ADVISORY EXPIRED AT 10 PM MST /10 PM PDT/ THIS EVENING.
A WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM MST /10 AM PDT/ TO
5 PM MST /5 PM PDT/ TUESDAY FOR THE LOWER COLORADO RIVER VALLEY.

AN APPROACHING LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM FROM THE NORTH WILL ONCE AGAIN
GENERATE WINDY CONDITIONS FROM THE NORTH ACROSS THE AREA INTO THIS
AFTERNOON...WITH GUSTS TO NEAR 40 MPH POSSIBLE. WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO
DECREASE AS THE AFTERNOON PROGRESSES.

WINDS THIS STRONG CAN MAKE DRIVING DIFFICULT...ESPECIALLY FOR
HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES. IN ADDITION...STRONG WINDS OVER DESERT
AREAS COULD RESULT IN BRIEFLY LOWERED VISIBILITIES TO WELL UNDER
A MILE AT TIMES IN BLOWING DUST OR BLOWING SAND. MOTORISTS...
INCLUDING THOSE TRAVELING ALONG INTERSTATES 8...10 ARE ADVISED TO
USE EXTRA CAUTION.

A WIND ADVISORY MEANS THAT SUSTAINED WIND SPEEDS OF BETWEEN
30 AND 40 MPH ARE EXPECTED...OR WIND GUSTS OF BETWEEN 40 AND
58 MPH. WINDS THIS STRONG CAN MAKE DRIVING DIFFICULT...ESPECIALLY
FOR HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES.
