THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TUCSON HAS CANCELLED THE WIND
ADVISORY.

A STORM SYSTEM WILL APPROACH ARIZONA TODAY RESULTING IN WINDY
CONDITIONS FOR GREENLEE AND GRAHAM COUNTIES. HOWEVER...EVEN
THOUGH WINDY CONDITIONS CAN BE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP THIS
AFTERNOON...WIND SPEEDS ARE NOT EXPECTED TO REACH WIND
ADVISORY CRITERIA. THEREFORE...THE WIND ADVISORY WAS CANCELLED.

THIS EVENING...

A STORM SYSTEM ENTERING THE GREAT BASIN FROM THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST
WILL MOVE SOUTHEAST TOWARD ARIZONA TODAY. AHEAD OF IT...SUSTAINED
SOUTHWEST WINDS OF 25 TO 35 MPH WILL DEVELOP OVER COCHISE COUNTY
THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING...WITH SOME GUSTS TO 45 MPH. AREAS OF
BLOWING DUST ARE ALSO LIKELY...MAINLY ALONG INTERSTATE 10 BETWEEN
WILLCOX AND THE NEW MEXICO BORDER.

A WIND ADVISORY MEANS THAT STRONG WIND WILL LIKELY MAKE DRIVING
DIFFICULT...ESPECIALLY FOR HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES. USE EXTRA
CAUTION. SECURE LOOSE OUTDOOR OBJECTS.
