COLORADO RIVER VALLEY DUE TO STRONG SOUTHWEST WINDS...LOW RELATIVE
HUMIDITY...AND HIGH FIRE DANGER...

A FIRE WEATHER WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY AFTERNOON
THROUGH MONDAY EVENING FOR SOUTHEAST CALIFORNIA...INCLUDING JOSHUA
TREE NATIONAL PARK...AND THE LOWER COLORADO RIVER VALLEY. SOUTHWEST
WINDS OF 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS OF 35 TO 40 MPH ARE EXPECTED LATER
MONDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING AS A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM APPROACHES FROM
THE NORTHWEST. DRY AIR WILL CONTINUE TO RESIDE OVER THE AREA...WITH
MINIMUM HUMIDITIES FALLING BELOW 15 PERCENT IN MOST LOCATIONS. THE
COMBINATION OF STRONG WINDS...LOW HUMIDITIES...AND HIGH FIRE DANGER MAY
CREATE WIDESPREAD HAZARDOUS FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS.

PLEASE ADVISE THE APPROPRIATE OFFICIALS AND FIRE CREWS IN THE
