Cyclone: Hurricane Doreen
Date it affected AZ: August 16-18, 1977
Affected Arizona as...: Remnants (dissipated just southwest of San Diego, CA)
 
Most of Doreen's fury was directed at southern California and the Colorado River Valley. However, Nogales received 3.10 inches on rain, while up to 2 inches of rain fell on other parts of southeast Arizona. The storm would go on to produce 2 to 5 inches of rain across southern California and between 2 and 7 inches of rain around Yuma.
