Cyclone: Hurricane Henriette
Date it affected AZ: September 6, 2007
Affected Arizona as...: Remnants (dissipated over eastern Sonora, Mexico)

After dumping up to 10 inches of rain on parts of Sonora and Baja Sur, Mexico, Henriette dissipated over Sonora only about 100 miles south of Douglas, AZ. However, remnant moisture interacted with an active monsoon pattern to cause flash flooding in Cochise County. One woman was killed as she attempted to drive through a flowing wash which crossed a secondary road outside Sierra Vista.
