Cyclone: Hurricane Ismael
Date it affected AZ: September 15, 1995
Affected Arizona as...: Remnants (dissipated over northeast Sonora)

Although Ismael came very close to moving into southeast Arizona as a decaying tropical depression, he dissipated before crossing the Mexican border, and his overall impact was limited in Arizona. One to two inches of rain in southeast Cochise County, AZ, caused some minor small stream and urban flooding around Douglas, AZ. Much heavier rains and more serious flash flooding occurred over southeast New Mexico and west central Texas.
