Kirsten produced only spotty heavy rain in southeast Arizona. However, 1.26 inches of rain was reported in Nogales, AZ. There were few reporting stations in southern Arizona in the mid 1960s, though, so it is entirely possible that heavier rains fell elsewhere in the region.
