| Polo's
moisture, combined with the weak trough coming in from the eastern Pacific,
produced rather heavy rain over eastern Arizona and western New Mexico.
Nogales received 1.93 inches, while a few mountain sites also picked up
over an inch. Interestingly enough, an early morning severe thunderstorm
ahead of Polo produced 2.5 inch diameter hail in southern Gila County on
October 2nd. |
