The above graph shows the total precipitation for the Monsoon season, or the period from June 15th through September 30th, for the official Las Vegas climate station for summers following a cool season where La Nina was present. Based on 1971-2000 normals, the total precipitation for Las Vegas is 1.20 inches in this time period. Based on the years shown above, 9 summers had above normal precipitation following a La Nina while the remaining 10 years had a below normal total.
