The Graphical Turbulence Guidance (GTG) is auto-generated every 3-hours showing maximum turbulence potential (FL200-FL450) that supplements AIRMETs and SIGMETs and is a guidance tool authorized for operational use by meteorologists and dispatchers.
Current CIP Analysis:
The Current Icing Product (CIP) is a Supplementary Weather Product showing maximum icing severity (1000ft. MSL to FL300) for enhanced situational awareness only and must be used with one or more primary products (safety decision) such as an AIRMET or SIGMET (see AIM 7-1-3).
