SYNOPSIS...SHOWERY AND BREEZY WEATHER WILL PREVAIL OVER THE REGION TODAY IN THE WAKE OF THE FRONT THAT MOVED THROUGH OVERNIGHT. THE LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM RESPONSIBLE FOR THE AUTUMN LIKE WEATHER WILL MOVE ACROSS THE AREA TONIGHT FOR AN UPSWING IN SHOWERS. THIS WILL RESULT IN ADDITIONAL HEAVY PRECIPITATION IN THE MOUNTAINS. A COLDER AIR MASS WILL ALSO INVADE THE REGION TONIGHT...WITH THE SNOW LEVELS PLUMMETING TO NEAR 6500 FEET BY EARLY THURSDAY. IMPROVING WEATHER WILL OCCUR ON THURSDAY AS HIGH PRESSURE ALOFT BUILDS OVER THE REGION. DRY WEATHER WITH NEAR NORMAL TEMPERATURES WILL PREVAIL ON FRIDAY UNDER HIGH PRESSURE ALOFT.
