.DISCUSSION...After a chilly start to the day, temperatures are
warming quickly across northern Arizona. Daytime highs will be
around 5-10 degrees warmer than Sunday. The warming trend will

.PREV DISCUSSION /233 AM MST/...Another clear and cold night is
occurring across the area with temperatures dipping below
freezing in a few of our colder locations. High temperatures on
Monday and Tuesday will be seasonable and warm in the low to mid
70s across the high country and low to mid 80s for the lower
elevations. Those temperatures with sunny skies and light winds
will set up a couple of very nice days.

Temperatures will continue to warm Wednesday through Friday with
several disturbances passing just to our north bringing the return
of breezy west to southwest winds each afternoon. By the weekend,
it is possible that a low may develop off the California coast and
bring periods of strong winds and critical fire weather for the
weekend. We will continue to monitor this in the coming days.
