  National Weather Service Flagstaff AZ
  830 PM MST Tue May 25 2021

.SYNOPSIS...Expect a period of quiet weather with warm
temperatures and afternoon southwest breezes through the end of
the week. For the weekend, southwest winds look to increase with
the potential for critical fire weather conditions.

  &&

.DISCUSSION...The forecast remains on track with only slight
modifications to the forecasted sky cover based on the most recent
  model guidance.

.PREV DISCUSSION /1244 PM MST/...A plume of upper level moisture
moving in from the Pacific will bring broken high clouds to the
region late tonight into Wednesday. Unfortunately, this will hurt
our chances of seeing the Flower Blood Moon Eclipse set to take
place early Wednesday morning. Otherwise, fairly quiet weather is
anticipated through Friday with typical breezy southwest winds and
warm temperatures. A disturbance will pass to our north on
Wednesday afternoon bringing a slight increase in winds, but gusts
should top out around 25-30 mph.

For the weekend, latest model guidance continues to indicate a
weak trough and associated cut-off low will develop over the
Southwest US. Ensemble guidance remains consistent in showing wind
speeds near the threshold for critical fire weather conditions.
No precipitation is expected. Please use precautions if planning
outdoor activities for the holiday weekend and obey all fire
  restrictions!
