.SYNOPSIS...Mild daytime temperatures and afternoon southwest
breezes are expected through the holiday weekend. Chances for
showers and thunderstorms return for Memorial Day, with lesser
chances thereafter.

.DISCUSSION...Dry, westerly flow aloft and slightly above normal
500mb hghts will lead to average overnight lows and slightly above
average daytime highs for the next few days. Aside from a few high
clouds passing by and normal, diurnal winds, there is not much else
to talk about tonight.
Minor updates were made for overnight lows and to add some smoke to
the weather grids, no further updates are planned.

.AVIATION...For the 06Z package...Mostly clear skies overnight and
into the morning as VFR conditions persist throughout the forecast.
Light winds will strengthen slightly by 18Z out of the southwest
with afternoon gusts peaking at 15-20kts. Aviation discussion not
updated for TAF amendments.

.FIRE WEATHER...Look for warm and dry weather with locally breezy
southwest to west winds each afternoon through Saturday. Afternoon
humidity will remain less than 10 percent with the Haines Index
reaching 5 to 6.
Sunday through Tuesday...Warm, dry and breezy weather will continue
Sunday. A slight increase in humidity will lead to some low shower
and thunderstorm chances Monday and Tuesday with warm conditions.
