On this page you will find statistics for the monsoon for various locations from across the Mojave Desert and southern Great Basin. The monsoon is officially defined as the period from June 15th through September 30th in Arizona. Although Nevada and California do not have an officially defined monsoon season, these dates were used for stations here as well.

The map above shows the percentage of the normal annual precipitation at a given location associated with the North American Monsoon for the period of June 15th through September 30th. The monsoon accounts for as much as 40 percent of the normal annual precipitation in parts of the Mojave Desert to less than 10 percent of the normal annual precipitation in parts of the southern Great Basin.
